Chris Eubank Jr overcame Conor Benn on all three scoring cards during their April bout

Eubank's grievances toward Conor Benn along with his camp resulted in a news conference promoting the second fight to turn into non-stop arguing

The 35-year-old boxer, 35, took the opportunity to assert that Team Benn as well as Hearn tried to "sabotage" his preparation prior to their first match with Benn back in the spring

Included in multiple allegations, he stated that Team Benn interfered in Eubank's pre-fight regimen, labeling the group as "merciless" plus "uncontrolled"

"They tried every trick they could to try and weaken my chances during this last bout", Eubank started, "Agreement breaches, fines, rehydration restrictions, interference weigh-in, bias commentary and refereeing" – before Eddie Hearn rejected these statements as false

The midweek media event marked the initial occasion Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn have met each other since their first fight

The fighter ended up in the hospital after the win also mentioned shed one of his toenails because of "extreme lack of fluids"

"I've never heard so much nonsense", the promoter shot back, "Eubank are acting like a victim"

The British rivals will fight again this November, with Benn aiming to get payback after his decision defeat

The second fight is attempting to recapture the excitement from their initial match, where descendants of boxing legends Eubank Sr & Benn Sr clashed in front of 60,000 spectators at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Chris and Hearn argued repeatedly in the lead-up before their initial bout, where the former taking to taunting his promoter whenever Hearn talked

The animosity has continued, as Eubank Jr accusing Benn of embarking on a "celebration lap" even after losing

"I'm telling you right here & at this moment, you ain't no champion and you certainly ain't no fan favorite", he declared

"These men aren't men of the people" Eubank continued, "They're acting. They are acting like the good guys. Wolves in sheep's clothing"

Benn refused to rise to the bait, letting his promoter handle most of the talking

However, this young fighter promised to be not as "overeager" in their second fight

"It felt as if I was one punch close to victory, yet I found myself constantly seeking that knockout blow", Benn said

After an entire media event filled with arguing, the face-off passed with no significant incident

Chris smirked at Benn, although after a previous controversial incident earlier this year, there was plenty of personnel on hand to keep matters cordial

Talking before the conference, Benn mentioned how Hatton had been his "idol"

"I can't really grasp his passing", Benn said

"Hatton had been a person who genuinely helped my career and also someone who welcomed me. Similar to a mentor would"

"He made me feel comfort when I didn't have stability. He meant so much to me. Very dear to me as well as my relatives"

"He had been an individual I admired personally, he became my inspiration", Benn continued

"He is an icon. It is even now hard to process. I have no words. My condolences to his loved ones"
